Events

Our school celebrates a wide range of events that enrich learning and bring our community together. From excursions, camps, and sports carnivals to performances, Book Week, and the Easter Hat Parade, students have countless opportunities to explore, create, and shine. Special days like Grandparents Day, and school transition connect families, while award assemblies, graduations, and community events recognise achievements and milestones. Together, these experiences create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive school community where every student feels valued and inspired.

Connecting Our Community

Our Book Fairs are a fun way to welcome families at the start of the year, and we also host a larger fair in Term 3 to celebrate Education Week and Grandparents Day. Throughout the year, our school comes alive with a variety of special events that bring students, families, and the community together. We honour important occasions such as ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, and NAIDOC Week, celebrate fun traditions like the Easter Hat Parade and egg hunts, and mark moments of connection with R U OK? Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day events, and our P&C Welcome BBQs. Students also shine in performances, plays, and sports days, making each event a memorable part of our vibrant school life.

Kinder Transition

Our Kinder Transition program, held in Terms 3 and 4, helps children and families settle smoothly into school life. Through engaging activities, familiarisation sessions, and opportunities to meet teachers and classmates, students build confidence and feel comfortable as they prepare for their first year of school.

Showcasing Skills and Creativity

Throughout the year every student is encouraged to explore their abilities and discover new talents. Whether taking part in the NSW Spelling Bee, debating, public speaking at the local mock council meetings, students engage in a wide range of challenges, including the Premier’s Reading Challenge and ICAS assessments. They also shine on stage at the School Spectacular and demonstrate skill and teamwork in sports, both on the field and in the courts. Our school provides countless opportunities for students to celebrate their creativity, achievements, and personal growth.
