Matong Public School has a strong, hardworking and supportive P&C that works in conjunction with staff to ensure all students have access to a quality education in pleasant and well-maintained surroundings.
Regular meetings are held in the staffroom (excluding school holidays) commencing at 7:00 p.m. Families are notified through the weekly newsletters. All parents are most welcome to attend these meetings and, by doing so, have the opportunity to stay informed of what is happening at our school and have a voice in decisions that are made.

The P&C's role is vital to the smooth running of the school; fundraising to assist with the continual updating and renewal of resources, organising working bees to ensure our grounds and facilities are in tip top condition, and holding social gatherings to allow members of the school and wider community the opportunity to mix and mingle in informal settings.
Being actively involved in the P&C and its associated activities is a great way to show your children that you really care about their education.
